Banfield Nutrition Recommender: Wireframes
This project required wireframes for desktop, tablet and mobile. The nutrition recommender is a interactive tool where the user can input data about their pet and generate results that provide general nutrition tips for their pet. This tool required a lot of conceptualization and attention to detail. There were multiple elements and levels of interaction we were introducing to the user. Because this was a new tool, it was important that the user knew what was avaiable to them and how to access those elements when they used this tool. Below are some of the user stories I incorporated into the design.
- How can I get information about my pet?
- How do I enter in the data?
- Can I print/export the data I received?
- Can I enter in data for more than 1 pet? What's the limit?
The end result was a interactive tool that has a good balance of functionality and a clear user flow process. The tool was engaging enough for a user to stay on the page and get immediate value. By providing this added value, it resulted in a higher rate of conversion by booking an appointment online to see their vet.
